We will propose a time and date to undertake the works required by you and keep you informed of any changes to our attendance should this become necessary. We shall not be liable (whether caused by our employees, agents or otherwise) for any consequential loss, damage, costs or expenses, any loss of profit or anticipated loss of profit, loss of data, reputation, or good will. Business interruption, or other third-party claims.

For non-account holders, the first hourly fee will be charged and payment requested plus VAT at the time of booking. Engineers will not be despatched to your address until such time that the payment is made in full. Engineer hours and other relevant costs will be charged on completion of the task and the attending Engineer will enable the payment via our office management team, having explained the charges to you ahead of finalising the bill. Methods of payment are via any major debit or credit card other than American Express which is not accepted.

The extent of any warranty claims given by Harrington Maintenance Company are in the case of Engineer time limited to the cost of the work undertaken, charged for and paid. Warranties in respect of materials are limited to the manufacturers period of warranty, typically 12 months. Should this be different we shall advise you at the point of billing. It should be noted that all lighting accessories have a limited warranty of 30 days.

We and our Service Partners are accredited to undertake a range of electrical, plumbing, heating, fire detection equipment and security work. We will not accept instructions for any work for which we are not accredited.

We are insured for a range of cover in the following elements, some of which are included under a 'Contractor’s all-risk' policy. A copy of our full policies is available upon request.
